As you likely noticed, May has seen quite the slump in active members and roleplaying. While we know that a lot of members have been quite busy with work, exams, moving etc. we wanted to ask if this has been the only factor behind the activity slump for most members. Are there things you are unhappy with, or things that you feel we should be doing and aren't? If you have any comments or feedback, and even if you've been too busy to participate, please let us know here.

I don't really see where much of this is going, especially story wise. I know that you guys want preludes for everybody before the main story starts but I see a lack of ability for story mods to put out content quick enough to get that going. It may be because I am new to this sort of RP but it seems as if, save for you and Xaos who I see on quite often, most of the story staff is busy with life and stuff. I by no means think that y'all should be writing a goddamn novel for us, and I know you guys must be working hard behind the scenes, but this is what I see from the player perspective.
I try and get on every couple of days and when something is going on the experience is excellent. Idk, I noticed the drop in activity too. Its been a hard couple of weeks but I'm trying.
hope that's a helpful response.

I know that you guys want preludes for everybody before the main story starts but I see a lack of ability for story mods to put out content quick enough to get that going. I want to clarify that we're not actually waiting on everyone's Prelude to be finished to start the main story. What was being waited for was to have enough completed characters in the various Sects, and before the sudden and dramatic crash in activity we were almost there. We had three Anarch PCs fully finished, we had one finished Camarilla PC with one actively being made and two more being planned and we had one completed IA PC with one being actively worked on and another being planned. Now, we've admittedly gotten a Sabbat pack together since then so it hasn't been an on all fronts decline but people have dropped off the map in every other faction and I doubt they'll show up again with so little activity. The biggest problem right now is the Camarilla, we just don't have the players to run a proper opening story. I had planned to have the main storyline started by now but people vanished en mass and very few seem to have come back, even after a month's time or more.

Perhaps lift the rule prohibiting tertiary characters from being vampires, seeing as the player count has dropped drastically? I would gladly play another vampire character (most likely Camarilla), being the RP monkey that I am.
I love character creation and playing as many characters as possible. I wanna make this work for the Storytellers in any way I can. I could role up a Camarilla character in the next couple of days if that would be helpful.

Mine starting with a lack of motivation (my inactivity) but it shifed into too much work and spending every other hour with my partner. Good news, the spending so much time with her is shifting back and I am also getting used to working this much.
