Physical Appearance:
Luz Elicia is a Vampire of clearly Iberian descent. Even After three hundred and twenty three years of unlife, Luz’s complexion has barely paled. She has dark, chocolate colored eyes. Her gaze at first appears collected, but if you truly look into her eyes you can see a smoldering fury within them. She has wild curly brown hair that she keeps in a bun atop her her head tied with a black scrunchie that she is never without. When it is down it reaches the middle of her back easily. Her lips however are pale, cold, and visibly lifeless as well as her fingertips, toes and ears, which are almost a pale white. She stands at about 5’6”. Her frame is curved with a large bust and wide hips. In life men would dream to touch her. Now it would be a nightmare, for her skin seems to suck the very heat out of any life she touches. Even being around Luz you can tell that something is amiss about her. Her presence is commanding, in a disturbing sort of way, that demands respect and fear.
She wears a loose black dress that flows down to the middle of her thigh, held fashionably by a large leather belt around her waist. She sports non-heeled leather boots over the leggings she wears. She oftentimes wears gloves and lipstick to try and cover up the symptoms of her cold lifeless extremeties. Her sense of fashion does not preside over the sense of practicality she harbors. All of her clothes, no matter what she feels like wearing any given night, will be practical enough to move about and hunt in. The pack must hunt and the leader must set an example.

Personality:
Luz is a woman who not only demands respect, but engenders it in the beings around her. After many hundred years of undeath, and active participation in Sabbat activities, she has not retained much opinion of pleasantries and small talk. While she is an effective liar and deceiver, she does not find the skill useful or effective in regards to leading the Pack. She takes pride in her work as Pack Ductus, but should the chance to advance herself within the ranks of the Sabbat present itself she would jump on it in a heartbeat. That is not to say that she would not give due favor to her current pack members, but they must rise through the ranks on their own, if they are to rise. Dragging someone along with you doesn’t particularly inspire or demand growth does it?
Her demeanor is usually cold and collected, but when Luz speaks her words are filled with passion and energy. When she requests something of one of her pack members she does so directly. She finds that sugarcoating her words tends to create unsatisfactory results. She believes that when dialogue is open and direct the common goals of the Pack will be more easily achieved. She has no tolerance for failure, but cherishes success. Worst of all, however, is mediocrity. At least a failure can be punished and learned from, and success is paramount to all, but mediocrity sits within a limbo of success and failure, stunting growth and engendering passivity. She is a woman of extremes, calm one minute; furious the next. Horridly disappointed in one moment, the next pleased with your resolve, should one learn from your punishment.
Despite her harsh leadership style, her respect for her pack members runs deep and fervent. However ruthless she may seem she loves her pack like her family. In an odd way she sees herself as a mother figure to the pack; stern but fair and loving in her own special ‘Luz Elicia’ way. Whether or not she actually behaves like a mother figure is a different story entirely. She has many Childer from her time in Portugal, all worthy of her praise and serving the Sword of Caine all across the world. She does not go out of her way to keep in contact, for she knows they are competent and serving as vital members of their own packs.
Luz Elicia only hates two things: Weakness, and her Sister Childer Gabriella. Humans are the epitome of weakness in her mind. It infuriates her that they excuse their own ignorance and pretend that they cannot wrest control of their own pitiful lives. Humanity deserves to be in servitude to the Sword of Caine as it is their nature to bend to forces outside themselves. Gabriella is a filthy traitor who backstabbed her family in pity of humankind and licks the boots of the camarilla like a blood starved tick.

Biography:
Luz Elicia Apaganza Bastilo was born in 1695 during the reign of Charles II to a wealthy merchant family in Gibraltar Spain. She was the youngest of four children with three brothers ahead of her, one seven years older one five years older and one four years older. She lived a posh life until her family started to go bankrupt in competition to the Gimenez merchant family. Charles II died in 1700 leading to the war of the Spanish succession. Her brothers went off to fight in the war in 1707. None returned. This prompted her marriage to Hugo Roberto Gimenez. The man was a drunk and a glutton barely able to run his own business were it not for his son Hugo Pedro Gimenez, born to his first deceased wife, running the business on a day to day basis. This marriage tied the assets of the Apaganza family, which had no remaining heirs, into the assets of the Gimenez family, at least securing the survival of the Apaganza family.
Her marriage to Hugo Roberto was horrid, filled with undesired sex and beatings, with whatever energy the man had left. The constant torture from Hugo Pedro made life nigh unbearable for Luz. Hugo Pedro resented her, as a child could never replace his mother, and as such instructed the house staff to never take care of her. As Luz spent her formative years under the thumb of two domineering men, and no help from any around her, she learned to fend for herself. She learned to steal food, to sneak out of the house so as not to be seen, she learned how to dress herself, and how to control her demeanor so as to lie and not raise suspicion. At age seventeen she had spent five years of her life being starved, beaten, and sexually abused. She had had enough.
One night when Hugo Pedro had consumed far too much alcohol, Luz Elicia snuck into his room and smothered him in his deep slumber. It appeared as if he had choked on his own vomit. With her tormentor dead she could begin with her bumbling husband. It is easy to poison someone and kill them outright, but it is hard to weaken them over time. Luz Elicia used small doses of arsenic based rat poison to slowly destroy Hugo Roberto’s health. Eventually he became so ill and bedridden that he could hardly speak. With Hugo Pedro dead, and Hugo Roberto, now a man of fifty, in declining heath, the servants had no one to turn to but Luz Elicia. She ran the house with stern resolve, meting out punishment for the years of neglect the staff had put upon her under the behest of Hugo Pedro. Eventually the Gimenez family business partners started demanding their due. Luz Elicia had to figure out how to keep the family fortune together for if her husband died she would be out on the streets with nothing. She decided to put up the façade that, with what little strength he had left, her husband was giving her instructions for the business. This persisted on for eight long years, until she was twenty seven and had been effectively puppeteering a large merchant family on her own. The business thrived. The point was not the money however. The point was the power, power that Luz had earned over the horrid bastards that abused her and over fate itself.
Little did Luz know that she had a secret admirer in the dark. Hugo Pedro had been a mortal ally to the Spanish Camarilla prince, funding Camarilla activities and campaigns against the Sabbat. Unbeknownst to Luz, or to Hugo Pedro, a prestigious member of the Black Hand had been sent to kill him that very night. Ricardo de Fieberi, a Lasombra elder, was waiting in the shadows of the room to strike just as Luz did the deed. Ricardo was perplexed that this young human could have such the nerve as to kill a man in such a personal, intentional, and unremorseful way. It impressed him, so he lurked back into his supernatural shadows and proceeded to watch her for the years to come. The cutthroat way she managed the business to meet her own needs at any cost made Luz a perfect candidate for embrace in Ricardo's book. When she was twenty eight, sitting at her desk one night, She felt something bite into her neck from behind her. At first she struggled, but then felt a wave of Orgasmic euphoria that her failure of a husband had never succeeded to give her. She relished in it, until eventually she fell unconscious. She woke up in an unknown dark room, cold as death, sitting next to a palor skinned man with long black hair and intense dark eyes. Ricardo began her training as a Sabbat vampire.
It was not hard to convince Luz that humanity was weak and deserved to be subjugated. Her hard life and cutthroatedness as a capitalistic woman in 1700’s Spain left her opinions of humankind low, even when she was one herself. She began unlife as a devout learner, looking to take in as much knowledge of her new power and vampire kind as possible. In 1724 the year after her embrace Ricardo took another Childer, Gabriella. She was known only as Gabriella. Gabriella had been an assassin in the underbelly of Madrid, serving as a high class prostitute to get close to targets who were inaccessible by other means. Luz, and Gabriella, served as members of a large pack which Ricardo lead as Ductus for twenty five years after their embrace. They loved each other like sisters, the sister that neither of them had ever had. Misfortune had tortured them, but eventually brought them to the state they were meant to exist in. That is until their path test.
Ricardo had been teaching both Luz and Gabriella about the Path of Power and the Inner Voice, grooming them to become adherents of the path. They were each tasked with killing the children of a powerful Madrid merchant that had been supporting the Camarilla. They were told they may get packs of their own should they complete the task adequately. The task was to wipe out the man’s entire family in front of him to teach him the error of his choices. Why not play with your food before you eat it. When it came to the task Luz was ready. She had no remorse, she enjoyed killing the man’s wife in front of him and then his son, leaving the merchant’s daughter to Gabriella. Gabriella, however, hesitated and then refused. Gabriella’s family had been murdered before her very eyes before she was turned into an assassin by the Castillo crime family. It was too close, too personal. She could not inflict this torture upon another with such disregard, even if it served the goals of the Sabbat and her own possible personal gain. She disappeared into the night leaving Luz to finish the job alone. Luz furiously and with fervor finished the job. Gabriella had left into the night and was nowhere to be found. Her sister had betrayed her and gone off to an unknown location, but her task was successful, the family was brutally slain in its entirety.
Even though it was not guaranteed, Luz was chosen to lead her own pack of young Sabbat members, with commendation from Ricardo, and assigned to Faro Portugal in 1749. This was the last time that Luz saw Ricardo in hundreds of years, and even then it was only briefly. It was here that she learned Portuguese and made a name for herself within the Sabbat working to break down the authority of the princes over an extended campaign of recruitment within the Camarilla ranks. The process was long and arduous, but Sabbat influence spread through the city over the course of ninety four years. In 1843 the walls came tumbling down when the Sabbat Archbishop in Faro was assassinated and Diablerized, not by another Sabbat but an Alastor hit squad. Reports reflected that one Alastor, who assisted in the assassination, was skilled in the use of Obtenebration. It was then clear to Luz that her sister, Gabriella, had truly betrayed the Sabbat, and meant to defy the Sword of Cain. Any sentiment Luz harbored died that day. If she found Gabriella she would do her damnest to kill the traitor.
With Sabbat efforts in Faro handily defeated, The Cardinal in Madrid ordered an end to Sabbat occupation in Faro, and for all to return and await punishment and reassignment. Luz bounced around the world from one horrid dead end posting to another for the next hundred and fifty years. However, after hearing, through a convoluted net of sources, that Gabriella might be making waves in the Forlorn Isles, Luz decided that it was time to start working on increasing Sabbat influence in the Atlantic, a key crossing midway point for Sabbat and Camarilla activities alike. In 1993 Luz Elicia became Ductus of a small pack in Oddhaven, and has been working to grow Sabbat influence in the Isles up until today.

My Sister Childer, Gabriella, turned traitor to the Pack and put up shop with those dirty, cowering Camarilla. I have heard that she is an Alastor among their rank. If I find that piece of shit I will crush her skull like eggs under a hammer!
Enemy: (2 pt)
My Sister Childer, Gabriella, hates my guts just as much as I hate her. She has it out for me the exact same way I do for her. If I ever come across her it is very likely that it would come to blows. She may not be actively looking to tear me, down but her discreet line of work amongst the ranks of the Camarilla may bring her to my door one day soon.
